E-mail stated that they were having returned mail regarding account ending in ****. So I get on the chat this morning to inquire and sure enough, I have a Capital One Venture Rewards card with a $5,000 CL! They are sending me a new card that I should receive by the end of the week. I asked if since I didn't activate the card in 2014 if I would be eligible for the entrance promotion and they told me I'd need to call the rewards department. Anyone had any luck with this?

You would have thought they would have canceled the card by now since he never activated it.
card activation is just a security measure, has nothing to do with account open/close or credit reporting
Received my card today and it is the Venture Rewards card Visa Signature.
