KDM, I've hit a wall with cli's on both qs 's. I assume because they are rebuilders.

I would still wait on the app for the QS if that's what you decide to do, since your Venture is new.

"You sure have a lot of Quicksilvers."

Yea.  I like cash back.  My Venture One even pays me 1.5% cash back.

I get almost $100 back each month with no annual fees.

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.

No, the Venture One pays 1.25% (for travel/gift card redemptions only).

No!

MY Venture pays 1.5% cash back.

It was covertered from Platinum and that is what we agreed on.

I have never heard of a Venture that pays 1.5% cash back. Venture One is 1.25% , Venture is 2% but not really "cash back" because the redemption is restricted unless you redeem against travel or for gift cards. I didn't think they just changed what the product pays out just because it was a PC.

Are you sure you aren't saying your Quicksilver pays 1.5%?

Re: What to do capital one

Every one of my Capital One cards pays 1.5% cash back.

It went from Platinum to Rewards to Venture One.

I rarely travel, that is why I do not have a regular Venture.

I know what you are saying, but I know what my cards do.

Perhaps it was because I had a Plat converted to QS already?

I do not know, but yes, they all pay 1.5% cash.

CapOne does some odd things.

Could not get a CLI on my $1k Sony Visa, so I closed it.  Applied for new card and got a $10k QS Siggy.

Could not get a CLI on my $3.5k Visa, so I closed it.  Applied for a new card and got another $10k QS Siggy.

Odd.

Rebuild started in 2014  -  $100k unsecured credit in 2017  -  $500k unsecured credit in 2024.
