Re: What to do with Chase Slate card?

I've asked Chase multiple times to PC my Slate to a Freedom. I paid the card off a few years ago and haven't used it since due to the lack of rewards. They always offer me the option to apply for a new card instead of a PC.

AMEX Blue Cash Everyday ($16,500) Capital One Quicksilver ($5000) : US Bank Platinum ($9000) : Kohls ($1500) : Dell Preferred ($2500) : Chase Freedom ($3500) : Citi Simplicity ($5500) : Victoria Secret Angel Card ($1950) : Express Store Card ($1700)

That's not really a PC then; that's opening a new account and combining your credit limits.

If you are willing to take the HP, I would just apply for the $100 sign up bonus. That's what you would make with $2,000 in bonus category spending...

In My Wallet: Amex BCP (12/12) $50,000, Chase Freedom (12/12) $16,500, Cap1 Quicksilver (6/12) $14,000, Barclaycard Rewards (5/13) $10,500, Citi Prestige (4/16) $30,000
