I had the 15 month 0% and was carrying a balance. My util was 80%+ as my initial CL was 5k and I transferred 4k, plus used the card for a few hundred evrey month. The auto CLI to 8k was at the 12 month mark. I had never requested an increase. I paid it off 2 months later.

I started @ $500, after six months I was auto CLI to $2,000. Six months later I went from $2,000 to $4,000.

Now, I've always let a balance report of no greater than 10% each month. So when I had a $500 limit, I never let a balance report greater than $50. I would always pay said balance in full each month.

So in a year, I went from $500 to $4k, and that's with a 25 month old BK reporting.

I think it can vary. I'm currently carrying a balance from the Apple 0% offer (I figure there is no point rushing to pay it off...afterall that is the point of the 0% offer) and they SP'd me but did not give me a CLI. Still stuck at 2k.
