I had an old Juniper card (bought by Barclays) for years (my only card) that was full to it's limit and I only made minimum payments. Then I came to this forum and found out how credit cards work and how they can benefit you.
I paid it off, and a month later applied and got approved for 3.5k for Arrival Plus. Closed Juniper and reassigned credit limit to have $7k on Arrival Plus.
Still new to the forums and research, and not realizing I should probably wait longer, one month after getting the Arrival Plus, I applied for the Barclays US Airways card and BAM - $11,600 instant approval!
I then moved some available credit around with them.
Since then, I've applied for and received all the cards you see in my profile signature. Since we know Barclays hates when they're not your only true love, they have never again showed me love since that US Airways approval day - no CLIs (either auto or asked for), no approvals for new cards (including business, like Hawaiian Airlines), which I've done at least twice. Hard pulls, too, for both CLI requests and new applications.
But, I can't hate them. They gave me more credit when no one else would, and was my first (still is) biggest card approval.
I've even taken a vacation completely using their points (I built it up to over 220,000 points in 6 months).
AMEX on my BSP. $5,000 -> $7,000 on an "Invited" CLI, and $7,000 -> $12,000 on a 61 day CLI.
Chase Sapphire Preferred-10k. I'm still shocked to this day.
alliant credit card gave me 15k while my highest card at that time was 8k

Wow! that's really fast to get a 20k card!!! it's only been less than half a year since you started!
NFCU Cash Rewarda at 12.5k last april, then Amex TE at 6,600, a week after I got the NFCU rewards , which the TE is now at 11,400.
AMEX BCE was (and is) my first.
