So I apped for an AMEX Gold PRG on Monday and got the dreaded 14 day message. No biggie, I just assumed the worst. So I checked the app status site for a few days. However, the only status it showed was "in progress". So I called yesterday to get an answer after a couple minutes on hold the CSR comes back with congrats your approved, we apologize for the delay, we'll expedite your card. Great! Well today I decide to check the app status site, just for confirmation and it says I'm DECLINED! What's up with that? Who's correct? The CSR or the site?
