Whats easiest Credit Cards to get??

Anyone have any ideas of which cards are the ones people with low 500's should apply for first to get more Credit?  I don't want to apply and get declined because of the extra inquiries it would give me.  Any luck with either store cards, regular cards, etc?  Or should I stick with secured cards for now?

Crown Jewelers. It's a store card, but it's no credit check. You do have to buy something for it to report. It's a $1500 limit.

You might try the card pre-qualification page at Orchard to see what it offers.

A secured card wouldn't hurt. Just read the terms so you don't end up with one with more fees than it's worth.

I only have one credit card at the moment.  Its an Aspen Mastercard with a $550 limit.  Its an unsecured card, but comes with some high fees.  Does Crown Jewelers charge any fees besides buying something?  Thanks!

You should be able to get store cards like Target, Macy's, Dillards. They might start you with low CL of $200-300 and get you going up. You can also try for CreditOne Bank. It is a good starter card.

I concur. For 500 scores, Credit One isn't so bad. Credit One, Capital One, and HSBC are worth a shot.
Here we go again...

Re: Whats easiest Credit Cards to get??

Do the store cards that you mentioned do hard or soft pulls?  I checked out the site and it seemed Hooters was a good one to try, but they turned me down...would it be the same for Target, Macy's, etc?

All creditors do hard pulls when applying for brand new accounts, with the exception of Crown Jewelers, who do no pull at all, and Spiegel, who (rumor has it) will approve on a soft pull.
