Home Depot card has no discount unlike Lowe's card. I might help credit mix. It is your first store card. It might mean something to you. I have had the card for over 10 years.

They always HP for CLI.

No, I don't think so. It doesn't work that way. I have both cards. I like to go to Lowes for the discount.

That's what an employee from Home Depot said on another post. They price match the 5% discount if you show the Lowes card at checkout at Home Depot with the HD card.

Who issues the Lowe's card?  and is it difficult to get?  I would never use it, but it may be worth having just for the 5% discount at Home Depot.

GECRB GE bank I believe fairly easy to get and good to give CLI every 4 months by calling GECRB Credit solutions from back door numbers. I would confirm this Is posible at your local HD it may be a YMMV.
