Applied to a few cards In the last year and was thinking of applying for NASA but decided to hold off and lengthen AAoA a bit more. Currently sitting at 5 years AAoA
Seven years,
Heh someday I'll have 5 years AAOA. It really isn't a big factor past the call it 4 year mark anyway, significant diminishing returns. Longer is better but long run if other than churning bonuses people should go to fairly steady state on their credit card profiles anyway in which case opening a card up sooner rather than later makes sense. In my case I'd like 1 Chase, 1 Amex business, and the JCB Makurai... and maybe, maybe a low/mid-tier travel card (unless I make that Chase app one) and after that there just isn't a lot I can conceivably use in the current market anyway and if I weren't mortgage hunting I'd sort 2/3 right now and probably make the currently laughable app as a flier on the JCB card too. My thoughts anyway.
2 years 7 months.
7 months.
With AU - 3.48 years
Without AU - 3.92 years
2 Years even. If it wasn't for amex MSD backdating then I would be probably closer to 1 year!
1 year and 11 months, about to take a hit when my BOA BBR reports, and potentially my US bank Credit Card if i get approved
Was over 9 years, but the recent app spree (6 new cards this year) brought it down to just over 8 years.
Having student loans has its perks, I guess. It's 2 different loans, but it reports as 19 separate accounts (between 14 and 22 years).
how do you find out? It used to tell you on your CR but now all i see is the oldest account which is 16 years .. my AAoA used to be at 9 years but who knows now
