Your question is a good question. I may let $25 report and as soon as the statement cuts I will pay it. If it reports 0 on the first then I will know. I will wait until the 5th of May and use $25 and when the statement cuts on the 17th I will pay it on the 18th.
I was approved for my nRewards secured card on March 17th and it reported on April 4th. Statement is due on the first, and I called NFCU and was told that reporting to the bureaus is done on the 4th of each month.
