Everyone has four negatives, except maybe the mythical 850 crowd.
As your scores rise, fewer and fewer negatives are displayed on the regular myFICO score report. I only get one these days, except when I dip below 760 and get two, and those with scores 800 and above see none. The idea is that the higher your scores, the less relevant are reasons 2, 3, and 4, so they're not displayed. But it's mainly because high scorers get irate and call CS to ask WTH, I think.
But since a lender-pulled report always shows four, it's interesting to see what they're going to see.
If you pull a /12 report, you'll have to clear the cookies afterwards, or subsequent score pulls will take you back there. Or maybe it's empty your cache. (Getting in over my head here.)
Also, a /12 report won't list your positives, which are actually just warm fuzzies added on the regular myFICO reports, and I think it doesn't display something else --the cute little howya-doin' bars on the first screen, maybe? It's very disconcerting to see the first time.

Well, I'll be darned. Are there any other little secrets we mere mortals have not been advised about?
If I pull using myfico.com/12, when I log back in later using myfico.com will I be able to see my scores that I pulled in the "normal" way again?
They don't go away, at least mine didn't.
But your /12 score report won't be listed.

Let me see if I got this straight ...
1. Pull using /12, and see the full 4 factors which negatively effect my score. Log back in using the normal myfico.com and then it reverts to the 2 or 3 negative reasons plus the positive reasons. Right?
If I pull using myfico.com in the first place and then log back in using /12, will it revert to only the 4 negative factors?
I don't know so much about "reverting." It's just that the slant-12 displays all four negatives (but not the positives, yada yada), and the regular myFICO report is the one you're used to.
The pulls are independent of one another, so it's just that you're shown different things with the different reports.
And the slant-12 will NOT be part of the list of reports showing on your products screen, as it is pulled via a different website that the myFICO site. Be sure to save it somewhere, because you won't be able to access it from the myFICO site.
I think it goes poof after 30 - 45 days, so there's another reason to save it.

Are there any other tricks? You know, like a slant-24 or a slant-48?
They ought to have a slant-77 which gives you Total Rewards points at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Vegas.

Actually my /12 reports have always shown on my listed reports on my purchases screen. I don't remember how long they stayed, however. For some time.
So when I look at my purchases screen, I pull up reports from myfico.com and myfico.com/12 - they're both there.
I did get my underwear in a wad the first time I pulled from /12. Pretty much scared the tar out of me. But I like it now 'cuz I like to see exactly what the lenders see.
Definintely not for the faint of heart. But the only place I know of where you can see the same four codes your lenders see. Not that they pay that much attention to your codes when you have a high score..........

I'm in!
I think, just in case it all seems very random, that the /12 originated in the good ole days when you could also pull EXP. Thus - 4 reason codes X each of the 3 CRA's = 12.
But I'd go for the /77.

Good to know. I need to try one again, and see if it gets listed!
