When are Chase Referral Bonuses Paid?

Hi,

So I just referred a friend and they were approved for a Chase card this is my first referral so I'm just wondering when it's paid.

Is it paid when your statement cuts, after their first purchase, after approval...?

1-2 cuts, nothing like amex that is 1-2 days for consumer cards.  if you know the persons ssn and other info you can sm them and they will do it on the spot.  chase also now emails when a bonus or referral happens

Hmm that's strange because a friend applied and was approved but I never received an email.
