When can I apply again with Citi after being approved?

Was approved on November 11th for the Citi Prestige card.  I've been trying to compliment it with the AAdvantage card however each time I apply they say I already have an approved app, and they refuse to even run my credit.

Any idea when they will let me apply?  They refuse to tell me the time frame.

You have to wait 8 days after you get a Citi card in order to apply for the second one.
