I have just got all my scores north of 600, and I'm wondering how much longer until I start seeing any type of pre-approval offers?
what types of offers have you received and what were your scores when you noticed them?
thanks!

Ha. I applied for Chase Freedom a little too early. I was denied, and immediately afterwared, I started getting preapprovals from Chase two to three times per week. Take those preapprovals with a grain of salt.

I received pre-approval letters from Capital One several months after I started building a credit history. Discover came, I think about 5-6 months in. No other creditors have sent me pre-approvals.

I'm about to get my 5th statement from my Capital One Secured and I've been wondering when I'll start seeing pre-approval letters in the mail too. Lol I did get some odd mails that I never got before though, like some free cruise thing that tries to scam you into buying timeshare and some lending tree letter.

best way to deal with the itch is just to get every card that's worth getting
but that helps ![]()

don't worry you will soon get so many pre-approved credit offers on catalogs you won't believe it, i get 2-3 "you are pre-approved for upto $400 credit" catalogs its insane. I never order from any of them but they still keep coming, most of the companies add 20-30% onto the item prices and nail you with 20-30% APR on your purchases. Best just to shred everything with your name on it.
