When my credit was worse than it is now (high 500's?) I was getting rebuilder preapprovals from the usual suspects. Those have stopped recently except for the occasional auto loan preapproval from those type of subprime guys. I think I'm in the lull now where I'm not a hot target for sub primers, but not close enough for the mid-high level guys to give a crap. Soon, hopefully. The chances of me not applying to the first decent preapproval are very low. Zero self control here.

Pulled a first premier and Walmart preapproval in the same day last week. The Walmart one was weird, since I just got one on my own last month
