When did your BofA secured card unsecure?

Also. If I try applying for say the Travel Rewards card and get denied/7-10 message, will I for sure then get asked if I want to open a secured account? I might as well no? It's a hard pull either way right?

When they unsecured me they gave me $1500. One month later after my Navy Fed cli to $10k posted to TU, I called back and asked them to match it. They obliged.

$99 (and apparently my deposit accrued interest so when they gave it back it was $100). I started with a $500 CL.

 At the time it unscured I think they had given me a few CLI's so it was at $1100 Currently? $5400, it's been unsecured for 2 years I think.

There is no guarantee you will be offerred the secured version, people have posted mixed results

How are your scores Vivid?  I recently applied for unsecured and got offered the 99/500.  You only deposit $99 and they give you a starting CL of $500.  I called to recon and the CSR told me I was selected for the 99/500 deal.  I took it right away just to get my foot in the door.

Hey there maybe I can help since that's the exact process process for my Travel Rewards Card:

14 Months

300 and  21.99 APR% I believe

Mines unsecure limit 500 (through recon with Credit Analyst as I had a previous BofA baddie on my CR from 05')

And there's no promise that you'll qualify for the secured card but you can always call the CA backdoor number for secured CCs and recon if denied on the spot. Also to note, while many people cards convert in 9-12 months keep in mind that it may be much longer (as loeanred the hard way) And yes, it's always an HP involved with BofA cards cards (especially new accounts) and the HP is usually from TU and occasionally from EX.

I had mine for 13 months (300 dollar limit) it never unsecured. BOA just wanted to HP me. IMO, that card is not worth 2 hp when sallie mae is a million times better.

I think it was 18 months, I tried at 1 year-no go. 

It was the 99/500, I got the offer in the mail.  

Current CL is $5,000, it unsecured in 2010.  I've only requested CLI three times since it was unsecured.  It went to $1,500, then to $5,000.  Second CLI was declined.
