Glad to help
just wanted to clear something up, whatever I pay this month(April) on the statement closing date will be reflected on my May credit report?
Say for example my statement closing date for USAA is 4/11/2014, I paid the account in full on 4/5 and posted a 0 balance on my account. <-- this zero balance will be reported on my May credit report correct?
OR
if I pull my fico 1 week after my closing date will it show?
I'm so damn confused, when will it post on my CR that it is paid in full
anyone?
I, too, am I little confused about this.
Let's use my CapOne card as it is right now as an example.
Current Balance: $168.05
Due Date: 04/16/14
Minimum Payment: $0.00 (because I just made a payment a couple of days ago)
Last statement: 03/19/14
Let's just pretend that I didn't make a payment a couple of days ago. I obviously want to pay my balance in full so I don't end up paying any interest. So how would I do that, pay in full by 04/16, and still have a small balance report on 04/19?
That's where I always seem to get hung up on this theory....with the statement being cut 3 days after my due date, that confuses me!
does anyone know when US Bank reports to the credit bueraus?

Yes at the end of each month no matter when your statement cuts

So does this mean I can spend spend spend until a few days before the end of the month and PIF and whatever my balance is on the last day of the month is what will be reported? So statement cut dates don't mean a thing with USBANK?

That is correct. It will report the bal you have on the last day of the month
