When should i ask for CLI on Freedom?

When is a good time to ask for a CLI on my Chase Freedom Visa?? Should i wait until after my 3x CLI on my AMEX? or after 6 months? 1 year? At what point did you guys get a CLI on a Freedom card??

I'd say after you get what you can from the AMEX CLI request and it shows on your reports.  Being Chase will be an HP no matter what they say regarding the CLI request.  If you get the 3x with AMEX, once it shows, it will help Chase feel more comfortable with giving you a higher limit.    Also, 6 months (statements) with Chase might increase your chances at a better CLI as well.

In addition to high usage, Chase likes to see payment history. All clis with them are hard pulls, so you want to be sure your reports are as clean as possible. Good luck.

After 6 months and keep in mind in most cases it will be a hard inquiry.
