When to apply after a payment??? AMEX

Well I want to give the bcp one more try. If I don't get it I will wait until January.

 

I just pif a 3k bill on my Gold card today and I want to make sure their online computer that sees this stuff know I did that beofore I apply. Should I wait until it posts? Or should I be good apply anytime?

Would they look at your current balance or would they look at your reported balance? I'd suspect the latter. ETA...I say that because they they know you PIF your Gold anyway.
