When will I get an increase for citi diamond preferred card ?

I was approved today but it was very low, 1,500. When should I get a increase. Do they do it automatically or do you have to ask ,if so how long should I wait.

I checked this when I got my thankyou card and was told account is reviewed for increases every 6 months...
