I received my new Barklays Carnival MC in March. From the looks of it, my first due date will be on May 5th. Can I expect my balance to be reported to the CRA's in April....or not until May?
There is a lot of variabilty on reporting. Most report after statement closes, hence April. Some report at end of month, hence May 1st or so?

To be sure just call them and ask.
They report off the statement date not your payment due date. I had this card once and it reported fairly promptly. Expect Experian first then TU then EQ. All this of course is subject to wind conditions with the exception of Experian reporting first. That you can count on.

LOL....I did, that was a journey in itself! I'm going to call the corporate number today.
I just called the corporate number and received the following....aghhhh!
My billing cycle ends on the 6th....therefore begins on the 7th of each month.
The representative tells me she 'thinks' it'll report around the 8th??????
I'm thinking the reporting date would be the 6th.....any other input from you experienced folks out there
What the rep meant was that the statement closes on the sixth..that info (status as of the 6th) is reported to the CRAs on the 8th.
(Gotta give the computers a little time to do their work...)
