I was thinking that maybe it was because of FICO scores or card levels.
I got the cards when I was rebuilding (No-Annual Fee Platinum $2750 and AF No Hassle Cash Rewards $750) and my current FICO scores are 690-710 range. I don't want to bother the executive office but I just want to PC the platinum card.
I'm not sure. My scores aren't that great, but my fiance's are horrid. He has the secured card and always has the option available. I have a Journey card and the AF rebuilder card from right after my bankruptcy.
I can get to live chat and I do not even have a log-in.

Where is it?
I drove one of the Reps so crazy last night online, I think they've suspended online chat.
At the top right when you login there should be a search bar. (Sorry I said customer service tab before)
My "Chat Now" button didn't show up when I just logged in, but I searched "Chat Now" in that bar and a window popped up saying "Chat with a specialist."

Did a search and had no such luck. I guess I'll just have to talk to "Peggy"!
Oddly enough, an answer came up saying "What is chat", but it didnt provide a link to any chat service. So strange!
I have also NEVER seen the "request a credit limit increase" button on my account either.
