Re: Where you putting the Gas this Quarter?

One look at my signature will explain why my gas will be going on my Discover more card until I reach the cap then it'll revert back to my Amex B.C.E.

I don't have the coveted Penfed gas card or a Chase Freedom.

Re: Where you putting the Gas this Quarter?

Chase Freedom, then Sallie Mae when the quarter runs out. Luckily I don't spend over $250 a month, so there's really no benefit to the Penfed card for me.

Re: Where you putting the Gas this Quarter?

Let's do the math: $100 x 6pts = 600 pts (PayPal); $100 x 5pts = 500 + 50 (5 $20 fill ups) + 10 (10% bonus) = 560 pts (Chase); $100 x 5pts = 500 pts

So Paypal won right? (less hassle; don't need a chk account) lol

Definitely going with Freedom, since it's the only card in my arsenal that has the 5x! DBF is using his Discover Smiley Wink

If you ever decide to get a Discover card, have him refer you. You both get $50 if you're approved. Smiley Wink

What is the redemption on those 600 paypal points? I have heard they worth less than 1ccp.

Not so fast. I value Chase points much more than paypal points,
