Re: Which AMEX Would Be Good for this Profile?

hmm well youd likely want a tu pulled card.

so anything from ge.

walmart/sams club ae etc....

and with a 5k card reporting id say youd get the discover version.

are those new cards included in the inq? what limits did they get.

id say wait until the boa reports 0 or whatever you paid and then app for something ge.

you could do it now but it would help in the long run.

wow ok is she looking for a charge card or a revolver?

most of the uw is the same for all the charge cards.

if she shops at costco id suggest the true earning since its a great card with cash back and no af with costco membership.

Re: Which AMEX Would Be Good for this Profile?

I think she's just looking to get her foot in the door with AMEX.

She prefers something with NO FEE.

Charge or Revolver doesn't matter, just wants to establish a relationship without getting denied for credit.

If you cook at home a lot which lots of people do go for Blue Cash Preferred @ $75AF or BCE no AF.

You'll get $300+ back a year with BCP assuming you put about $500 a month on groceries and not including gas or miscellanies.

If you need a referral PM me your email.

Re: Which AMEX Would Be Good for this Profile?

Do you think they will approve her for blue cash despite her 5 inquiries? I have a feeling they are going to pull Experian (she's in California)

Would Zync be less inquiry sensitive?

zync is not offered anymore.

but if she wants no af i would go for bce. (blue cash everyday)

are those inq all in the past year

honestly though with her aaoa and spotless record even with a year of cards (since its not reported yet just the inq)

i would think she would be fine but its all ymmv.
