My scores looked like yours when I was approved for the Barclays rewards card. They gave me a 750 limit. I also got the credit one at the same time with a 300 limit, then within a week changed it to 500. Walmart gave me a 500 limit around the same time.
I'm clicking and then clicking away from the application with the fear of receiving another deinal... Don't know what to do.. I thinking I should apply again.
you should try for Wal-Mart. Its best to app in-store.
When my score was around yours i also got a card for $500 from a bank called merrick bank.. gave increase after 6 ontime payments
When I type a search for Merrick Bank they are only accepting applcation if an offer has been recv.
With your TU score in the 600s, you could probably qualify for some GE-backed store cards (JCP, Wally, Amazon, etc). AFAIK, Barclay's typically pulls TU so you might be able to get one of their CCs.
However, I'd highly recommend gardening your current TLs and work on your baddies. The "Rebuilding" section is great for those working on resolving baddies.

Yes...Merrick unsecured CCs are by invitation only. They're a great rebuilder, if you do get their offer.

Good advice here.

+1 for these suggestions. DH & I were also approved for a Barclays Rewards & Walmart with TU scores similar to yours. With your TU score, I would say you may have a good chance with some of the other GE-backed store cards, i.e. Amazon (DH got that one too with a similar TU score), Gap/Banana Republic/Old Navy, JCPenney, Lowes.
I was also able to get approval on a First Progress secured & Cap-1 secured card ($200 CL with a $49 deposit) with scores in the 500's-low 600's. Just keep in mind that Cap-1 will pull all 3 bureaus.
My suggestion would be to try for 1-2 major CC's & only 1-2 store cards (ones that you would really use at least a few times a year). At this point, don't rack up too many inquiries -- especially for store cards you may not use very often. Good luck & keep us posted.
EDIT: Sorry, just re-read your post & saw that you already have a Cap-1 secured.
