Which Cards Should I Close, and Transfer the Credit Limits To?

I even paid around $7 to choose my own design. LOL. I'll just wait for their CLis and use it for misc expenses. The feeling was awesome getting approved instantly online ... hahaha.

Lol, I love the enthusiasm! on a serious note tho, see if you can consolidate your bank of america visa cards into that Platinum Plus that you currently have before closing them. Or just sock drawer them so you can increase the average age of your accounts.

Thanks. I actually did consolidate the two cards today to the Privileges Visa but I lost $200 from my CL during the process. I wanted to show two cards with 5k limits in my CRs reports for future apps. Even though one of the cards I closed was my first card since 2011.

BofA pulled up TU for consolidating my CLs. Now my CL is short of $200 plus one extra HP to add to my collection. ):

Just an update ... BofA sent me a letter to call them regarding the CL transfer request. They have now informed me that I would lose $200 of CL per card to process my request.

I asked them to cancel the request since I wasn't ready to lose $400 from my total CL.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

IMHO, you already took the HP, so you should do it. $200 of CL is nothing, and having cards of 5K+ is essential to growing CLs in the future.

That's right, so I would have to lose $400 for both cards. Since, I already cancelled the request, have to give them a call if they can re-open it. Thanks.
