Re: Which Credit Card Should I Go For Now?

Well, I had a cocktail or two tonight as I was reading the forums and finally got the courage up to try for the Apple Barclays card...I said on the application that i wanted between $2,001-2,500...and...well I wasn't approved.

BUT....

I WAS APPROVED FOR $1,290! I couldn't believe it! Even though its not enough for the MacBook Pro I want (yet), its still an amazing feeling to hear "yes" for once in my life! Hopefully, with a birthday on the horizon, I can make up the difference in cash...

SIDE QUESTION: If i call the backdoor number and ask for more credit line (for a specific reason), which is to cover the computer i want, will they want me to be faxing them paystubs, take a lie detector test, blood sample, etc...

or will it just be like "THEM: So how much do you NEED? ME: $2200 THEM: Ok, DONE." ?????

Jeez, im excited....i was shaking before i clicked submit...now im shaking and grinning!

I was in the same situation, approved fir $1250 and needed 2100. Called in and told them I wanted to buy a macbook for 2100 OTD. They connect u to a specialist to chat about employment and expected payments etc. Got the CLI in less than 5 minutes. Pretty casual really. I highly recommend you call the backdoor and give it a shot
