I'm thinking of Flagship Visa Siggy. Anyone have some recommendations for me on which card to app for? My current profile: cap1 secure 1k, WF secure 1k, Amex zync, Amex delta 2k, Walmart discover 1.8k, Chase Amazon visa 2k and Freedom 1.5k.
Hey Duncarr!
I recommend either the Flagship or the Cashrewards. If you travel- Flagship- . They are both good cards with NFCU. Best of Luck!
To me the rewards do not seem all that great. I have been thinking about getting a NFCU card, but they don't seem worth it. The AF relative to the rewards on the flagship don't seem all that great. The US Bank cash+ or flexperks sig seem much better.
Does NFCU usually give out really high starting limits? Is that the perk for apping with their products?

$49 AF for visa Siggy is really low. Ill have enough fun with concierge to justify that . But yes, they are ridiculously generous with initial CL.
When are you going to app? I'm curious to see what CL you get to start. What kinds of limits do you have now and what kind of trade lines do you currently have? Remember- the cashRewards card comes in the siggy flavor now too.

Did you really pay attention to the NFCU Flagship? it gives you 1 point per purchase, but each point = 2% back... with a $49 annual fee it's$10 cheaper than Capital One Venture card. with a MUCH higher interest rate on the Venture. 5-10% or more. Although Cash back is only at 1.5% but perfectly fine by me. So you use Flagship where you can not get 2% back on things. Like Sams club, or Costco, BJ's etc the most you'll get from those stores is 2% with a $110 annual fee at Costco.
So if you don't have US Bank Cash+ you can get 2% back for travel on billpay as well which everyone would only get you 1% It pretty much beats the Venture card down with a stick if you really look at it. The flagship rewards really should state 2 points or call themselves a 2% card like Venture card, but hey last thing they want is to attract too many reward hungry people. If you spend enough to justify the $49 annual fee about more than $200 a month you'll break even. After that it's all 2% bonus.

Edit: Thought Annual fee on Flagship was $59 but was $49 , Captial One Venture is $59.

My CL are listed above with exception that zync is NPSL (internal limit at least 10k). My Walmart statement cuts on nov 2 so ill app as soon as that updates. Probably around nov 4/5. Ill post approval here.
Income is 6 figures and scores will all be over 660 with TU and EX around 700.
Duh! Sorry. Re-read after posting. Sorry. . I bet you get 15K+ with 6 figure income. Please do let us know. I can't wait to see what you get.
What? Not going to drap for all of them?
If you spend more than $7,000 - 8,000 a year. $49-59 annual is not an issue, if not just go for the Cash Rewards
