Ok, I recommend keeping the cards open if you want your FICO score to go up. Having the additonal cards will help with your AAoA when it comes time to purchasing a house/get a loan, etc. Just stuff them away and only pull them out ever few months.

It's probably a good idea to use them every 90 days or so just to be safe. Some creditors are better than others about not closing cards due to inactivity. They'll continue to help your AAoA the same either as closed or open.
