Which companies only pull EQ applications in NYC?

My Fico scores are EQ 798 TU 762   (only two accounts on both)

My Ex report still has one older charge off that they will not remove.

I have spent three years reparing my credit (my scores were in the 500's on all three CRA's) and am ready to apply for another credit card and would like it to be based on the EQ report if possible.  I currently have no inquiries and only want one more Card.   Any suggestions?

Which two accounts are reporting on EQ & TU?

And who is the charge off on EX with?

Hi beamMEup! 

Yes, this site is awesome.  The two accts are both AMEX.  One acct was from a special program that they had for deliquent accts.  I paid them in full (think it was $2,000) and they issued me a new card with a $700 limit. I have had that for approx 3 yrs and never late.  Unfortunately, they do not reward you under that program for good standing.

The other AMEX is one my father added me.  Good standing account for 40 yrs with $7,500 limit.  Never late

The Charge off is from MBNA/Bank America.  I gave up fighting with Ex.  They said it does not fall under the NY purge rule (paid charge off removed after 5 yrs) so still have another 10 months left.  There position was it was transferred not paid....

you might be able to go back and get more amex cards but i wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket.

The Kroger card pulls EQ, if you don't have Kroger, they have a family of other stores with cards for those stores.

don't want another AMEX card or any dept.store cards.  Would like a bank card with a line of credit of at least $2,500.  I would think with my 798 EQ FICO score, it should not be a problem.  But would like to apply for one where I know the chances are pretty good they are pulling only EQ or at least not pulling EX
