Discover It and Chase Freedom. I was thinking about waiting 6 months before I apply for the second card. I have 4 inquires for Experian and 4 on Equifax. Perhaps I should wait for Chase Freedom to have their $200 bonus which they seemingly offer every 6 months, the last two being summer 2015 and fall 2015.

Discover 5% are for just about all retail stores (clothing stores) and department stores until end of the year.  If you shop on their portal you can earn even more on top of the 5% (+ 5% online.) Chase is limited to only amazon and only select department stores not as broard as Discover is offering. However, if you're not shopping much this year during the holidays (black friday) too then maybe the $200 cash back would be in your favor. But earning double cash back at the end of your 1st year with Discover can work in your favor too if you plan to shop untl you drop Smiley Tongue
