Re: Which one is 'easier' Chase Freedom or Slate

CS800..... arent you and I supposed to be in "garden mode" ? per the advice of that poster like two weeks ago, that said we BOTH needed to stop applying ? LOL, anyway, I got to thinking that I wanted my inquiries to fall off about the same time (or so I justified it to myself as such) and pulled the trigger on freedom.... got instantly approved but a measly 500 bucks and 22.99 % APR...... IM DONE  ( until at least March) btw I havent received my card yet but thought I could recon for a higher CL, Nope..... but at least its another prime lender...

Re: Which one is 'easier' Chase Freedom or Slate

Yes i'm supposed to be in garden mode but using your logic that the inqs will fall off at the same time. I only have 1 inq on my EQ and 2 on my TU. and 8 on my EX (5 are reaching their 12 month in a few weeks)

In the last two months, I got a Zync. Platinum AMEX and a Discover more with a $6500 CL. AMEX only pulled 1 inq for both on EX and Discover 1 hard on EQ.

My Discover hasn't started to report on any of the CRA's yet.

Decisions...Decisions !!

Does Chase pull EX?

In my wallet: Apple $5,000, local CU $15,000, Bread AMEX $5,000. In my sock drawer: A few other cards Smiley Happy

Current scores (EQ, EX, TU): 787, 788, 796

I cringe when I see the word Experian...they have been the slowest to remove baddies, and for reasons unknown my tax lien from over 7 years ago remains (even though I faxed them documentation from the state saying it should no longer be on my report) on their report while the other two bureaus removed it over a year ago. Grrrr...
