[ Edited ]

im pretty sure the majority of lenders use fico scores... the EQ fico score from here should\will be the same as the EQ fico score you bought from equifax.com

On a different note, i've noticed the last couple of months that a lot of lenders pull EX and TU instead of EQ... maybe thats just me though.

there is no real list out there that shows what CCC pulls EQ only though... a lot of CCC's apparently pull different CR's according to your location...

Starting Score: 575 (As Of Early 2011)
Current Score: TU: 767 EQ: 732 EX; 742 (As Of Feb 2012)
Goal Score: 750

I froze all three and only want to open up Equifax for business as this has the lowest 2 yr INQ's (8) and best DTI.

Be aware that your FICO score may be part of the decision, but ultimately it is the information on your reports that determines if you are approved.

Many lenders use their own in-house scoring systems, which look at many things, including your score, to process your application.

Nordstrom is one of them...but they may also pull TU if you're borderline for approval.

Discover generally pulls EQ. At least they did for me.

In California, for me I've seen Chase, US Bank, Discover, and GE all pull Equifax exclusively.

You have to be very careful what you buy from EQ. Yes they sell an EQ FICO but they also sell their own proprietary "Equifax Credit Score" that is not a FICO and is not used by any lenders. If what you got said "FICO" anywhere then you should be good to go.

Equifax will still sell you a FICO score found here: www.equifax.com/web-myfico-products/
