From time of request to posting to account? I'm looking to BT from Lowes (25%) to something a little more palatable. I know from experience AMEX takes FOREVER, but the rest I'm not sure of. My bill is coming due on the 15th and I'm hoping to aviode more interest charges.

Just used an access check from Cap1 (mobile deposit) and within 24hrs I had the 6K on my checking account... fast enough?
Awesome! I forgot I had a "retired" Cap1 Quicksilver account.

Who do you bank with? Your 6k check deposited via mobile deposit cleared within 24 hours?

Which card offers you the best terms? I only did it because Cap1 gave me 0% APR for 12 months and 1% BT fee. The medical bill was paid in full but I would have preferred to split it over a longer period but not pay too much interest. So these access checks just came at the perfect time. Normally got their 2% offers and funny even now where I have 60% util on the QS they still send me new checks but for 2% instead of 1% BT fees.

2 checks for 3K each and yes funds available within 24hrs. Discover is the checking account I used. The interesting part is that the 6K charge to Cap1 only posted like a week later and I had transferred the money to my savings account already. (The access checks from Cap1 where somehow from an account of Wells Fargo??)
edit: this was my very first time to get weak and accept these checks but really pleased with the "free" money. This transaction is cost neutral or even better now as I can use the money to pay 2% cash back cards and on the savings account it becomes cost neutral for me

Wow that's fast. Discover must have a very lenient funds availablelity policy. I have accounts with 4 different banks none of that would clear a check that fast if its over $500.

I deposited a check for $5k in to my Bank of America account via the mobile app and it was all available the following business day.
forum credit union, i can show them the bill and get check printed on the spot
When I did the transfer to get cash to buy a car Citibank got it thru really fast...I think we got it early the one day and it showed up in my account the next day.
Plus if you have a 0% APR offer for 12 or 18 months you only have to pay the 3% fee giving you all that time to pay the balance off for the 3% rate.
