Who is MBNA?

Been reading pages of comments on the thread of bad treatment by CC people and keep reading MBNA.  Wondering who that is?

MBNA Corp was a bank (holding company) out of Delaware that was bought out by Bank of America about four years ago.

Re: Who is MBNA?

MBNA is used to be the largest credit card issuers and very popular credit cards too in the 90's and early 2000s. MBNA is Maryland Bank National Association was sold to Bank of America and all credit cards are not part of Bank of America. Bank of America is still good. Bank of AMerica was used to be NationsBank and they bought BankAmerica off in San Francisco and renamed it Bank of America. And recently Bank of America purchased Merrill Lynch and now they are the largest US bank.. How CRAZY huh? Buy and Sell Business
