According to the MC website there is a Black.  The Black is a step above World and a step below the W Elite

HSBC offers it. Advanta bank at one point did before they were closed.

I don't think you can apply for it either. It's the Centurion of Mastercard.

MasterCard Black is only in select markets but I think those products are being moved over to World Elite. MasterCard International announced plans last year to establish WE as the global premium brand of MC and have since moved World Signia MasterCard (European) into World Elite in those markets.

That sucks.  I got excited cuz the Black comes with Prioity Pass Lounge Access included as a MC Black Feature.  IOW, not a feature that the issuing bank controls but MC.

AFAIK from a friend with a MasterCard Black, it is the Select tier thus you pay USD $27 per visit.
