I've been in the garden for 8months, I only have 2 inqs on each report for a car purchase in January... since then this is my first app. I currenlty have 2 Cap1 cards that are both over 2-3 years old

Ok, that helps. I'd concur with the advice that you received from another poster on a different thread. Wait for the Amex to report for a couple of months so that you'll have a card with a good CL showing. That might help you to get a decent line with Chase. You don't want to risk getting stuck with a toy limit.
