Why Amex Zync?

I'm just curious. I see alot of members here love that card. What about it is so great? I have no knowledge of this card as it was discontinued before I ever knew about it. Thanks

If you still have packs it can earn pretty good membership rewards express points, and if you have a any card that earns full membership rewards points (ED/EDP, Green, Gold, PRG, Plat, Cent) all of those express points turn into full membership rewards points.

Since amex now offers a no AF card that earns MR points, it can be a fairly lucrative card, with a possibly quite low AF. It also looks dope.

Re: Why Amex Zync?

It is because Zync has the lowest AF charge card.

Totally dig the last 3.... I was under the impression that Packs were 100% gone and it is basically just a neat looking charge card with low AF.....

Re: Why Amex Zync?

I can't remember the last time my Zync had packs. It's been a very long time since they were discontinued. To answer the OP's question, I keep my Zync because I don't want to pay $95 for the Green when I can have a similar card for $25 when I dump the Platinum. It is a very unique card, and I plan on keeping mine until AmEx says otherwise.

Lastly, my Zync has a higher exposure limit than any card in my portfolio. While I don't plan on utilizing its 40k-50k+ charging ability anytime soon, I still like having it around.

Re: Why Amex Zync?

That's cool.  I wish amex would do this or something similar again.  Thanks for the info.
