When checking a "credit score" on a certain website, it gave an Experian score which seemed lower than I thought it should be.
Under reasons my score was lower than it could be, it said
"Your report does not show any open, currently active major credit card accounts, such as Discover, VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. You may want to consider opening a major credit card, which is viewed positively by most lenders."
However, I have had an active, Citibank Mastercard (presently a Dividend Mastercard) for almost 10 years. Why does Experian think I do not have an active major credit card?
Details from report on the account below.
