Re: Why do people apply in sprees?

I don't apply for multiple cards at the same time.  I apply for cards when i need them.  If you do decide to apply for multiple cards at the same time try to limit the requests to 3.  Do your research and find out what cards pull what bureaus.  Usually a creditor will pull only one bureau.  Exception being Cap One and they pull all 3.  So you do the spree and you get 3 cards with i inquiry each on TU,EX and EQ.  Wait 6 months before making app/apps again.  Space em out 6 months between app/spps and you should never have a problem with excessive inquires.
