Imperfectfuture: How in the world did your score jump 185 point in 18 months?

Started in the rebuild section.  When I broke my foot, laid up through early fall of 2014.  Cleared my reports of all baddies, even stretching to 2019.  I had a secured card (since graduated), opened in May 2013. Added a rebuilder card (now closed) in April 2014, and still mostly used my paypal premier card with cash back.  Hung out in garden thread, realized my scores were probably good enough to get in with Amex (ex first clean, Oct 2014), and the rest is history.  I also added a secured installment loan for mix of credit in Oct 2014.

Keep total utilization under 9%, but I do use the heck out of promos and offers.  Freedom is now getting the workout.

Mine went up 600 points in a few moments. I saw 171 and then realized I can't see my computer screen with glasses on. Took them off, bam - 771. It's possible.
