Why does purchased FICO score and the Discover pulled score different?

[ Edited ]

Help me understand how the score could be different,(same day) unless the score instantly dropped because of the hard pull.

Thanks~

Re: Why does purchased FICO score and the Discover pulled score different?

The TU Fico from here ist not the TU Fico Discover uses I guess. But EQ should be the same.

Amex Platinum (NPSL) | Amex BCE (12,000) | Discover IT (8,000) | Chase Freedom (4,000) | Walmart (850) | Alliant CU Visa | CapOne Newcomers MC | Gone for good: CapOne secured (thx for getting me started) | Amex Zync (thx for getting me into AX)

FICO: TU 726 (5/13) EQ 690 (4/27) EX 714 (1/26)

Re: Why does purchased FICO score and the Discover pulled score different?

TU sells multiple FICO scores. The one from here (TU Fico Classic TU-01 I believe) is the one that most lenders will see.

FICO scores: 819 (EQ) 815 (EX) 803 (TU)

Amex Platinum NPSL - Citi HHonors Sig. $42k - BMW Ultimate $36k
Chase Sapphire Preferred $42k - Merrill Lynch + Signature $33k - USAA Rate Advantage $20k
NFCU Flagship Signature $33k - USAA Cash Rewards AMEX $20k
Citi Platinum Select / AAdvantage Signature $23k

When Discover pulled my EQ it was a good 15 pts less than the EQ I bought here. Someone said that the one they use is "enhanced", whatever that means.

Starting Score: TU TransRisk 532| EQ FICO 635|EX Plus 612
Current Score: TU TransRisk 590|EQ FICO 677|EX FAKO 674|Vantage 684 as of March 6, 20
Goal Score: 750-800 across the board

Credit Card Enhanced is a proprietary product, much like Auto Enhanced. It is not what is considered to be your FICO score.

FICO scores: 819 (EQ) 815 (EX) 803 (TU)

Amex Platinum NPSL - Citi HHonors Sig. $42k - BMW Ultimate $36k
Chase Sapphire Preferred $42k - Merrill Lynch + Signature $33k - USAA Rate Advantage $20k
NFCU Flagship Signature $33k - USAA Cash Rewards AMEX $20k

When Discover sende me a TU FICO, it tends to match the one Walmart gives me.

Re: Why does purchased FICO score and the Discover pulled score different?

There are 3 versions of TU fico. TU 98 which is sold here. Then there is TU 04. Then there is TU 08 which Walmart provides when you enroll in paperless statements. For equifax the version sold here is beacon 5 model. I believe there is another one out there but i don't have information on that. I really just pay attention to my Eq score cause it seems most accurate and that's the same model my credit union uses.
NFCU plat 5k | NFCU cashrewards 3k | Chase Freedom 1.5k |
BOA 123 1k | Amazon 1600 | Walmart 900
