Why does purchased FICO score and the Discover pulled score different?

[ Edited ]

Help me understand how the score could be different,(same day) unless the score instantly dropped because of the hard pull.

Thanks~

Re: Why does purchased FICO score and the Discover pulled score different?

The TU Fico from here ist not the TU Fico Discover uses I guess. But EQ should be the same.

Amex Platinum (NPSL) | Amex BCE (25,000) | Chase Sapphire Preferred (17,400) | Discover IT (11,200) | Chase Freedom (4,800) | Walmart (4,500) | CapOne (1,500) | Alliant CU Visa | Gone for good: CapOne secured (thx for getting me started) | Amex Zync (thx for getting me into AX)

FICO: TU 754 (1/18) EQ 731 (1/26) EX 748 (12/5)

TU sells multiple FICO scores. The one from here (TU Fico Classic TU-01 I believe) is the one that most lenders will see.

FICO 04 scores: 809 (EQ) 812 (EX) 818 (TU)

Amex Platinum NPSL - Citi HHonors Sig. $58k - BMW Ultimate $40k
Chase Sapphire Preferred $62k - Merrill Lynch + Signature $41k - USAA Rate Advantage $28k
NFCU Flagship Signature $50k - USAA Cash Rewards AMEX $28k
Citi Platinum Select / AAdvantage Signature $31k - Chase Amtrak Rewards World MC $41k

When Discover pulled my EQ it was a good 15 pts less than the EQ I bought here. Someone said that the one they use is "enhanced", whatever that means.

Credit Card Enhanced is a proprietary product, much like Auto Enhanced. It is not what is considered to be your FICO score.

FICO 04 scores: 809 (EQ) 812 (EX) 818 (TU)

Amex Platinum NPSL - Citi HHonors Sig. $58k - BMW Ultimate $40k
Chase Sapphire Preferred $62k - Merrill Lynch + Signature $41k - USAA Rate Advantage $28k
NFCU Flagship Signature $50k - USAA Cash Rewards AMEX $28k

When Discover sende me a TU FICO, it tends to match the one Walmart gives me.

Re: Why does purchased FICO score and the Discover pulled score different?

There are 3 versions of TU fico. TU 98 which is sold here. Then there is TU 04. Then there is TU 08 which Walmart provides when you enroll in paperless statements. For equifax the version sold here is beacon 5 model. I believe there is another one out there but i don't have information on that. I really just pay attention to my Eq score cause it seems most accurate and that's the same model my credit union uses.
NFCU plat 5k | NAVCHECK 5k | NFCU cashrewards 3k | BOFA 123 3k |
Chase Freedom 1.5k | Amazon 1800 | Walmart 1450 | Buckle 300

On the prowl for Chase Sapphire Preferred!
