I got mail from Amex, it states my FICO EQ is 691. looks like it pull from EQ, not from EX, where Amex usually pull from.
wow, luck me.
all amex pulls have been EX on me in cali
Amex pulling EQ only is odd.

same here - EQ soft out of the blue last month -- never happened before!
They have only used EX for me, both for Hard and Soft reviews. I suppose it is possible that they are starting to branch out to other CRAs, though.
I know some people have reported AMEX pulling all 3 CRs in some cases for revolving cards.
I've always wondered why a company would work exclusively with a particular CRA, I guess there is a business justification for doing so.....

Yeah, I'm one of the lucky ones that got all 3 pulled. 3 times. It was about a year ago, I applied for a pre-approved Delta card (denied), something else that I don't remember (denied) and Zync (also denied).
I just looked at my credit reports, and I ended up with hard pulls on:
12/14: EX, TU, EQ
12/17: EX, TU, EQ
01/07: EX, TU, EQ
So each application, they gave me an HP on all THREE. And I thought I heard Amex used the same reports if you'd applied within a short timeframe.
Luckily they'll stop hurting my scores in the next month, but I feel like they really gave me the middle finger with the way they pulled everything, repeatedly. Made me feel like they're an elitist version of Capital One.
