Being that you're in college, you should have a good job in the near future so if you get a card now , in a couple years youll have the history and the better income to get your big cli's

BoA declined my cli request with 780CL for lack of usage.
They gave me 150 credit for NOT using their card for Several month last year.
5k SL from 2006, still 5000 today.
Most people here have better luck with BOA than me.

When was the last time you swiped it or had a balance transfer on it? I suppose if it hasn't been used at all, there's no reason in their eyes to give you more. With the exception of my new Cash Rewards card, none of my BOA cards have seen a swipe or haven't seen a swipe in at least a decade - but they keep handing me more credit when I do BTs.
