Re: Will I be approved for Amex BCP, BCE, or BC?

I looked over my reports again, and I made a mistake with the inquiries. I have one from EX dating 7/11 and two from TU dating 6/11 and 11/11. Will this affect my chances? Should I wait to apply until towards the end of the year after all of them are gone? Should I apply for a charge card now(PRG), and then apply for the BCP later?

I wouldn't think that would be an issue. I just got approved for BCP, and I have 6 inquiries on my EX in just the last 6 months.

As a previous poster suggested, go to https://www.creditcards.com/cardmatch/ and enter in your information (minus SSN - it's not needed) to see if you get the $250 sign-up offer, and apply with that link. Can't argue with an extra $100!

Lol you are over thinking this. That inquiry is over a year old and no longer affects your score.

Inquiries only matter if they get excessive and raise red flags that you are aggressively seeking credit. This shows you are very tame.

I was approved for BCP with 2 Inquiries on EX - one was 6 months old. If you want this card just apply.

To paraphrase: do it or get off the pot.

What were your credentials/history at the time of application?

Dude, apply if you haven't already. I'm confident you'll get approved. I'm 21 with a $20k income with my scores in the high 700s and I was just approved. Just to be sure you'll be approved, you should drop your util down a wee bit. Good luck!
