Hey guys, heres a little bit of background info:
I have had my AMEX Delta card open since July 2013, so it has been exactly one year. I was an authorized user on my father's AMEX Platinum account since March 2012 however.
My limit on my Delta card was 2000 until April 5, since then my limit is 9000. This was a result of AMEX emailing me a week before Apr 5 offering a 1000 increase and me accepting it and immediately asking for 3x that amount.
My income is $150k+ under my SSN.
Credit Util is under 20% for the most part.
All bills paid on time.
Credit Karma says my score is 739-754. Says differently different parts of the website, I think it used to be 754 till I picked up a big statement balance on my AMEX card (since then paid off entirely in time).
No prior relationship with Chase.
What are my chances? I'm leaving for college again Aug 18 and need a visa card. I realize my chances are increased greatly if I get a freedom card first but I am wondering if I can go straight to chase sapphire preferred.
