Last night, I applied for a JCPenny card. I got the message that I would get a response in 7-10 business days. I'm thinking that I am already denied, but I will not know until I receive a letter. My question is, is it too early to call them today to call the backdoor number? If I do call the backdoor number, will they be able to inform me about the status of my application? And also, if I was denied will I be able to reconsider?
