Will asking for a CLI take a hit on my credit?

If its a Hp, yes but the ding is temporary. if the cli helps your util it might be a good choice. SPs - no.

Mikey78 is correct what cards are you seeking CLI"s?

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

Well I requested the increase and I went from 900 to 1500

Basically because of the 2009 card act. They are going to mail me the application and get my signature since I am under the age of 21 and I'm a student. They haven't said if it was approved or not, but something tells me it probably will be since they are going through this.
