I am trying to keep only a tiny balance on one card to keep my utilization below 5% but I want to be sure when my first statements cut for my new cards that $0 posts. I find this tough because I'm using my CSP for every purchase to hit the $3000 for my bonus so there is always something pending on my card. Chase will only let me make payments like 10% over what my current posted balance is.
So the question is...if a statement cuts and I've paid the current balance but transactions are pending, will they be on the statement? Should I just stop using the card around statement time to avoid this all together. I'm traveling a lot the next month which is one of the reasons I got the card so I don't want to NOT use it and get my 2x UR on dining and travel.
Thoughts?

It depends on when they close some will some won't
YMMV. On my GE backed cards, any transactions made before the statement date will be on that statement. AMEX can take time to actually post, however.
Anyway, I wouldn't chance it, if you're looking to have a zero balance post. Or you could push payments from the bank.

Oh, good call on pushing payments fro the bank. Since they're Chase cards and I bank through Chase, that should be easy enough. Thanks!

Yea I would guess that is your best bet is to walk in the bank and make a payment then, Don't make any purchases till the statement cuts. With BofA I had issues were they hold my payment then apply after statement cut if I made multiple payments within the statement period if I pay through online bill pay but since there are many branches through out my city I now just walk in and make payments
